Auburn doctoral student becomes Gov. Bentley’s education advisor

Jared White, a doctoral student in the Administration of Higher Education program, is set to become Alabama Governor Robert Bentley’s education policy advisor effective July 14. White replaces Emily Schultz, who left the position last year.

Jake Jacobs, a recent graduate of Auburn University, will also replace Wesley Helton as the governor’s aide-de-camp, or travel assistant.
