Graduate students Sean Kennedy and Dylan Piper-Kaiser from the College of Architecture, Design and Construction were part of the Industrial Design Sustainable Designers Organization student team that recently placed first in the International E-Waste Competition’s Prevention category.

The competition is part of the Sustainable Electronics Initiative at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The Auburn team’s product, EverCloud, allows users to personalize their cell phones with features and styles specific to their tastes and is a design solution that eliminates the waste created by frequent replacement of cellular devices.
