Graduate student saves woman from drowning

Auburn graduate student Doug Bacon saved a woman from drowning last week after she jumped from the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma.

Bacon, a student in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction, was driving back to Auburn for the start of classes when he saw the woman jump from the bridge. He jumped in the waters below and saved the woman from drowning.
